Visa Support

Travel to Korea (Visa / COVID-19)

All foreign visitors must have a valid visa or an approved Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) to enter Korea.

Foreign visitors are advised to contact the Korean Embassy or Consulate in their country as early as possible if they plan to visit Korea for the congress. Please check whether a visa is required or not through the VISA Navigator link below.

To receive an invitation letter for a visa, please complete the application form via the link below. The invitation letter for a visa is only available for participants who have paid their registration fee in full.

[For Visa-Free Entry Countries]

Korea has temporarily suspended the visa-free and visa-waiver program and has officially implemented the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) system. Visa-free foreign visitors must check for eligibility and apply for K-ETA at least 72 hours before your departure to Korea. K-ETA is not a visa. K-ETA approval does not guarantee admission to the Republic of Korea. A Korea Immigration Service officer at a port of entry will have the final determination. Visitors who are not eligible for K-ETA are required to apply for a visa.

Entering Korea
All entrants (Korean & Non-Korean) are exempt from quarantine regardless of vaccination status. Pre-departure and On-arrival PCR tests are no longer required from October 1st, 2022.  But all incoming foreigners must have a valid visa or a K-ETA to enter Korea.
If you show symptoms of COVID-19, please have a COVID-19 self-test (which can be purchased at convenience stores or pharmacies). If you get the positive result of your self test, you are required to visit the PCR testing clinic near your accommodation to have the supervised RAT/PCR test.

Q-Code System (optional)
They may submit the result certificate using the Q-code system designated by KDCA (Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency) to shorten the time for quarantine inspection required upon entry to the Republic of Korea.
